Bike Fitting

Bike Fitting at Revel Outdoors

Our Bike Fitting service is currently unavailable. We can still offer some basic help with bike setup and fit - please contact the shop for details.

We provide a Professional Bike Fitting Service at our Bury St. Edmunds store to help you find your perfect bike, or to set you up on your existing bike. We use Shimano's computer system with the accurate and simple Bikefitting measurement jig.

Standard Fit - £70

The Standard Analysis calculates the ideal bicycle size and position of the cyclist. It can be used to perfectly adjust an existing bicycle or determine the ideal sized bike for bike models from over 30 manufacturers.

8 body dimensions are taken into account:

  • Height
  • Foot length (left and right)
  • Inseam
  • Torso length
  • Arm length (left and right)
  • Shoulder width

A computer diagram is created showing ideal frame measurements.

We will then take you through the process of setting up your bike to fit you and your position, based on your unique requirements and circumstances.

Basic Sizing Fit - £20 (or FREE, when a bike is purchased from us)

The Basic Measurement system from is ideal for ensuring you get the right sized bike.

The analysis uses the following measurements:

  • Inseam
  • Torso length
  • Arm length

A diagram is produced showing dimensions of the frame and the position of saddle and stem.

We will then take you through the process of determining what size bike is appropriate for you.

Shoe Cleat Fitting - £15

Ensure cleats are correctly positioned on cycling shoes to:

  • Improve comfort
  • Optimise power transfer
  • Help prevent damage
